Mosaica Group Enters Strategic Partnership to Sell World’s Fastest Wide Format Printer
Customers will see increased capacity for large-format jobs, trim hours off of production time

Sussex, Wis. – The Mosaica Group, a graphic arts distributor serving companies throughout the Midwest, today announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Xerox Corporation to sell the fastest wide format printer in the world. Under the terms of the deal, the Mosaica Group has exclusive rights to sell the printer in the Midwest region.
“We’ve recognized that many of our customers’ print requests are changing, as well as the speed at which those requests need to be met,” said Randy Peters, President and CEO of The Mosaica Group. “We’re proud to enter into this strategic partnership with Xerox to sell this impressive new machine and help our customers make a big impression with big prints. Achieving fast, consistent wide format printing with greater frequency will be easier than ever.”
Now, customers looking to trim hours off of their wide format runs will benefit from the Xerox Wide Format IJP 2000. The printer has five fixed print heads that simultaneously jet four inks in CMYK color, producing more vibrant images in a single pass. The machine utilizes Memjet Formula Ink, the most advanced ink technology available for high-speed printing.
With those best-in-class printing speeds, a customer can print a 42 inch by 36 inch poster in less than six seconds – all at 1600 by 1600 dpi resolution. A wide format job that used to take up to five hours on multi-pass inkjet printers can now be completed in just five minutes.

Every aspect of the machine’s design is geared toward keeping printers productive and profitable. It also features two-liter ink tanks to keep jobs running longer. A four-roll capacity allows runs of up to 2,000 feet of media on 42 inch-wide rolls – with the ability to print on papers, vinyl, banner fabrics or films. Finally, a production-capacity stacker keeps up to 150 printed sheets organized and ready for finishing.
By taking advantage of the industry-leading capabilities of this machine, printers can realize greater opportunity in wide format runs – marking a paradigm shift from having to pass up large-format jobs with moderate to large runs that didn’t fit easily into their production schedule.
